"This is a wonderful product. I have two children and never had a problem with my oldest taking medicine. So when I tried to give my now five month old medicine, she spit it all out. I didn't know what to do, I tried to put it in her cheek, way in the back, blow on her face and nothing worked. I thought I would look by the pharmacy when I was shopping and saw this bottle. I thought I would give it a try so that my daughter would get the right amount of medicine. It worked so well for her. We gave this bottle a real test in December. My daughter had RSV and we had to give her steroids. Everyone told us how bad this medicine tastes and how hard it is to get a child to take it. Well, we did not have a problem at all, she took it with out any problems because all she could taste was her milk. What a great gift this will make for any friends or family that are having a baby. "I wanted to take the time to share with all the pharmacists my personal experience with a new product - the ReliaDose® Medicine Delivery System. AJ is one year old and has never been good about taking medicine (anitbiotics, cough medicine, Tylenol.) When the ReliaDose® showed up at the pharmacy I thought that it looked like a great idea but I also thought AJ would soon be done with bottles, so I wasn't going to buy one. Then AJ developed a double ear infection. Of course the doctor put him on Amoxil TID. After my mother complained about how hard it was to give AJ the antibiotic, I purchased the ReliaDose® and tried it. IT WORKED LIKE A DREAM!!!! We haven't had to fight with AJ to give him his dose since. AJ drinks the juice or milk and I slowly push in the plunger on the syringe. I feel that it was worth every cent that I paid and now in hind sight - I would have paid more!! Keep this in mind when you are ringing up any customer purchasing a liquid medicine (prescription or OTC) for any child under 2 years old. "Our poor Aeris has been so fussy lately in the evenings before bed and I have been at a loss to figure out why. Well, yesterday she gave me one of her big toothless grins and I noticed that she is cutting teeth like crazy--not just one, but six teeth at once!! She really needed a good nights sleep for once. I decided I was going to dose her before bed with some baby Tylenol. She is not the best at giving medication, so I was dreading this whole ordeal. A few weeks back, I received a free sample in the mail of this new device called the ReliaDose. What essentially is, is a baby bottle with a syringe that is fed down the middle of the bottle with your medicine in it, so the milk or whatever liquid you put in, masks the taste of the medicine being fed through. I was really skeptical about this product because you can't fool any of my kids when it comes to medicine. I have tried hiding medicine in formula before, and it NEVER worked--and the pills in the applesauce--BIG FAILURE. Anyway, I tried this gadget, and IT WORKED. Aeris was not even aware that she was being given medicine and off to dreamy land she went. It must be really hard to cut so many teeth at once!"
